Thailand Drops Cluster Bombs, Damaging Cambodian Temples and Civilian Areas!

Phnom Penh: Cambodian residential areas and temples along the border have suffered damage due to Thailand’s use of cluster bombs—an act that violates the Convention on Cluster Munitions (CCM). This was stated by Major General Mali Sujata, spokesperson for Cambodia’s Ministry of National Defense, during a press conference on the current Thai invasion of Cambodian territory at 12:30 PM on July 25.

According to Ms. Mali Sujata, the Thai side used heavy weaponry to attack Cambodia, particularly deploying cluster bombs, which not only breach the Convention on Cluster Munitions but also violate human rights principles. The spokesperson urged the international community to condemn Thailand’s acts of aggression without hesitation and called on Thailand to immediately cease such brutal actions.
